Dr Radoslav Aleksić is a Professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, and Head of the Department of Materials Engineering. He received his MSc degree in 1980 and PhD degree in 1985. His professional interests are focused on: advanced materials, optical fiber technology, processing and testing of composite materials. His international experience includes a position of Visiting Researcher at the Textile Research Centre, Texas Tech University, 1985/86, where he participated in the project 'The Performance of Cotton in Blends with Various Novel Synthetic Fibers: The Flammability Behaviour of Experimental Blend Fabrics Containing Cotton'. He is a leader of Composites group at the NFMC FTM UB and several research topics for projects financed by Serbian Ministry of Science and Technology.
